Precision® Oral Safety Syringes
Paediatric medicines are typically prescribed in liquid form and administered using precision syringes to ensure accurate dosing for children’s medicine.
Whilst all medical staff using oral syringes are trained to administer liquid into the side of a baby's mouth, there is still the risk of an untrained end user squirting the medication directly into a child's throat by accident. An accident that could cause the child to choke.
To avoid this our manufacturing division has been working on developing anti-choke technology and has produced a syringe with multiple holes in the end. Thus enabling medication to 'spray' out - resulting in the reduced chance of a child choking.
