Bridging the gap between School and Work

There is an increasing awareness globally that secondary school studies alone are not adequately preparing students for the modern workplace. The Career Advantage Program is aimed at equipping children and young people with the necessary skills to bring positive benefits to businesses from day one. The Career Advantage Program provides a link to the business world by offering students irreplaceable work life experiences where they can put to use the skills they are learning.

 

Here at Valley Northern, we are working with a private school in the area to support this program.  We have enjoyed helping the student prepare for the workplace.

 

The student we have been supporting showed her appreciation to us at Valley Northern by making us a cake to share which we all enjoyed!
