How Valley Northern Helped Tywyn Food Bank in Their Time of Need

At Valley Northern, we believe in supporting our communities, especially when they need a helping hand. Tywyn Food Bank shared a challenge they were facing: a desperate shortage of bags to distribute food to their customers.

The food bank explained that they had previously repurposed the carrier bags the food was delivered in, but recently their deliveries had been sent in boxes instead of bags. While this worked well in many cases, the shortage of bags made it difficult for them to meet the needs of customers who required smaller or more manageable parcels.

That’s where we stepped in.

Carrier Bags and a Big Mission

Understanding the importance of the food bank’s work, we were more than happy to donate 1,000 plastic bags to help them get back on track. But we didn’t stop there – our beloved mascots, Harry and Chloe, wanted to get involved too!

With their usual enthusiasm and energy, Harry and Chloe personally helped deliver the bags to the food bank’s shop. These two cheeky monkeys were thrilled to take part in such a meaningful initiative, and their visit brought smiles to everyone at the food bank.
