Valley Northern are pleased to announce that we have been successfully audited and passed Level 1 of the Labour Standards Assurance System!

 

The NHS Accredited Standard recognises that Valley Northern has a process in place that has been audited by an external SA8000 Accredited Certification Body, who are leaders in Certification and Inspection, to ensure the company meets with its legal and moral obligations as defined by relevant law and International convention.

 

Ethical standards include;

• Child labour;
• Forced or compulsory labour:
• Freedom of association;
• Discrimination;
• Health and Safety;
• Working hours
• Remuneration.

 

As part of or commitment to quality and our ISO 9001 Standards, we continually assess and monitor our own performance and process controls and also those of our suppliers. Our aim is to ensure that standards are continuously improving.

 

The Organisation commits to making available sufficient resources for the implementation of this policy.

 

We are now working towards furthering this accreditation to Level 2.
