Macmillan Coffee Morning

Here at Valley we are keen to support charities, especially those close to our hearts.  So when we saw that Macmillan Cancer Support were holding their annual coffee morning, we just had to get involved.

Originally we planned to hold this on Friday 30th September as the adverts said, but everyone was so keen to bake cakes and savouries that we had to hold it over 2 mornings!

We had lots of lovely things made from rocky road and marmite swirls, through to Polish cheesecake and South African Milk Tart!  We even had someone bring in a coffee machine so we could have ‘posh’ coffee at break time!

All of this was done as we fully support the work that Macmillan do.  Some of us working here have had personal dealings with Macmillan and can’t praise them enough for their hard work and dedication, and express our gratitude to them.

We are proud to say we raised a grand total of £86.59
