Valley Northern Fire Training

On Wednesday 4th May 2016 Valley Northern invested in a training course for many of the staff here to train us in the ‘Selection and Practical Use of Fire Extinguishers’, delivered by Paul Crutchley from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

The training was very enlightening and involved real-life videos and fun practical demonstrations, as well as the serious side of fire prevention.

                                                                                             

 

Everyone here thoroughly enjoyed the training and said it’s given them extra awareness, not just at work but at home too.  It’s even resulted in us changing some things here at Valley, as staff are much more alert to the risks and dangers involved with fire and smoke.

So from all of us here at Valley Northern, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Paul and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue for this course – it has made us all more aware of the importance of Fire Safety
