Valley Northern’s Coffee Morning for Macmillan: A Cup of Coffee and a Slice of Fun!

At Valley Northern, we love any excuse to get together, especially when it's for a great cause! Recently, we hosted a Coffee Morning to support Macmillan Cancer Support, and it was filled with good vibes, tasty treats, and plenty of laughs.

Along with our usual coffee and cake indulgence, we added a twist this year with a fun game of 'Guess the Cake'! Everyone got to taste-test a mystery cake and tried to guess the secret ingredients. After a few puzzled faces and wild guesses, we finally revealed the unexpected combo: courgette, grapefruit, and thyme! Who knew veggies and herbs could make such a delicious dessert?

Of course, it wasn’t all about the games and cake (though they were a highlight!). Every slice, sip, and guess helped raise money for Macmillan, supporting the amazing work they do for people affected by cancer.
